Here's how. (This is NOT compatible with IE/Win.)

Mozilla-based browser
Go to your profile folder. In Windows you can Run %AppData%\Phoenix\Profiles\default\. On UNIX variants it's ~/.phoenix/default/ and on Mac OS X it's ~/Library/Phoenix/Profiles/default/. Once there, open the folder named eight random characters and then .slt. Then open the chrome folder, and edit the file named userContent.css - create it if it doesn't exist; userContent-example.css provides a good base.
On the bottom, enter:
a:before { content:        "^_____"  !important; }
a:after  { content:        "^"       !important; }
a        { text-transform: uppercase !important; }

Restart the browser.

Other browser
Find the user-defined stylesheet option (usually somewhere in Options, Settings or Preferences. Create a file ending with .css somewhere. Put this inside: 
a:before { content:        "^_____"  !important; }
a:after  { content:        "^"       !important; }
a        { text-transform: uppercase !important; }
Pick that file to be your user-defined stylesheet.
Restart the browser.

I just made everything lowercase using userContent.css ...

I didn't know that it affects those special characters that Kitten Yiffer has in his name... Kind of cool.

And lord only knows HOW people could exploit this... Possibly as some super secret "add-on" to Mozilla, but then again most Mozilla users are smart enough to know what it is.

I hadn't seen any "dangerous" addons for Mozilla, but then I only look at the officially site. (users submit plugins there, and they test it if it's safe... )
