My little brother has been into Sonic games lately (this will work for General Chat, just hold on  ), so my mom wants to get Sonic toys for his birthday. We already have VERY old plushes, made by CalToys, of Sonic and Tails. What she's looking for is a CalToys Knuckles (or if not, a Knuckles abuot the same size) and some action figures.. The most obvious place for us to search is ebay.. but oh man. Sonic toys are fucking goldmines. There was a set of three action figures, Sonic, Tails, and Shadow, and they went for $100. There are also users with fast connections who bid at the last minute, screwing us over. And this has happened.. the ebay site takes so long for us to load that the auction has ended by the time we get there. It's madness. Everything is beyond expensive OR the thing beyond sold looks retarded.. as if they were home made or something. And I won't even get into the bullshit users you come across at eBay.  So my question is this.. are there any good alternatives? An online Sonic store that sells these things for a reasonable price that I'm not aware of? Does this belong in gaming forums? This is real important to me, because my mom complains about it every five seconds, and my brain is melting. |
