In the last boss battle in SML2, I somehow got stuck in the roof until time ran out in one of the small corridors between rooms. Was I ever pissed.

And then there's IM2, which I'm assuming is beatable on any platform it was released on. (Likely several.)

Programming bugs seem to be more common with today's games, actually...

Devolopers today are more lazy.

Nah, it seems that N64 games are more buggy than the Gamecube games for example. Something says me that the programmers wasn't used to 3D programming.

More advanced it is = harder to program = more bugs.

Yeah but clipping isn't a terrible problem. I'll take some clipping in a good game as opposed to game design flaws/bugs/lockups.
