It happened again! a FRESH HORSE, that skipped the Preakness went to race in the Belmont to upset another Triple Crown hopeful. There is not going to be a Triple Crown winner until they change the rules! Grr!!

I Love Smarty Jones!! Is anyone else upset about this?

The rule that it's ok for horses to not have to run in all legs of the Triple Crown. Because, what has happened every year, is that a horse will run in the Derby, skip the Preakness, and win the Belmont, because they are rested. But, the problem with that is, they always beat the T.C. hopeful, because, of course, you have to run in all three races to win the Triple Crown. And it is completely unfair to have a Fresh Horse beat them!

So, what I'm saying is that they need to make a rule that horses that are going to run in the Belmont are required to run all three races: the Derby, the Preakness, and the Belmont.

Which part is unfair?? The current rules? or the rules I suggested?

Maybe if the Belmont wasn't the longest and most grueling race of the three...

I think we're still due another TC winner and it'll happen, but I still think that other house was on steroids.
