Ohhh!! My summer vacation totally sucks! First off, I can't get so much as one second to relax. Second, I always have to work, and I can't get even one measly hour to sleep, and finally, I now have the hives! I got stung by a few hornets and wasps. (OUCH!!!!)

Yeah, getting time off is the best way to let yourself unwind and stuff like that so you don't feel all stressed out. So then, you can take time to spend that money, money, money!!

Yes, you should take some time off. It'll be enough time to relax and heal from the wasp and hornet stings.

alot less than exaggerating things, methinks.
my experience out of living with a 12 year-old female is that every little thing that doesn't go as they want it to is the end of the world.
Try putting honey on your stings, I'm told it eases the pain a bit.

I don't receive any money whatsoever after I've done a hard day's work! My aunt tells me that she'll pay me when the week is over, but that time never comes! I'm working at her ranch every day. Hell, the woman has tons of money, but she's too damn greedy! OW!!! The damn stings are killing me, and putting honey on the stings don't work. It only makes a mess on your legs...Ugh! It don't ease the pain for me! Worst of all, my dad is forcing me to work even if I have stings all over me! As a complete total, there's 24 of them!

Why not go to the store and ask someone there what you should buy to but on those stings.

Working is the way of life and I've been doing it since I was 16 (24 now). Its something that has to be done (unless you are lucky enough to have enough money not to worry about bills and things that you wish to buy) and you can either grin and deal with it or whine about it (which tends to make the situation far more worse than it really is.

Remember, it could be worse, in any case situation.

Now, there's only one thing to say: I'M FREE!!!...And I finally got my pay! Now I can spend some cash on a few things! As for those dreadful stings, they're almost gone! As of now, I'm just thinking of what I should buy with all my Franklins and Grants!

DGX, so it didn't turn out to be the worst summer after all? It's over, you got your pay, and there's plenty of time left before school.

Tempest, I was the other way around. In 12th grade I was a total heffer. I can't even begin to explain it, just.. obese. Or bordering on obese. It was bad. I've gone down to only about 15 pounds overweight, but yeah. The clothes I had then are not THAT small.

You're payed, so buy some ointment. And some doughnuts, because doughnuts rule. And yeah, I suppose you could talk to your aunt...I'm sure she'd understand if you really are having trouble getting one hour of sleep...

Calamine lotion never fails!
I had hives a few times, looked like a friggin globe, that ugly pink goo really helps if you can get some on ya.

As for the working, sheesh! I never had to work like that at your age.
Stress tends to cause certain side-effects to your body: High blood pressure, headaches, excessive body heat, pimples, and canker sores.
It is best to avoid these situations by sheer optimism.

One step done is another step toward getting finished and relaxing.
Think about what rewards you will get, after all, little gain is better than nothing!
You can relax and kick back later the sooner you finish your chores.
Try to impress your aunt by doing a little extra work and some things might just pay off.

Although my dad is a complete asshole most of the time, I still work my ass off.
I get nothing, but I would do almost anything to keep him from yelling at me; more or less beat my ass for not doing something right.

Consider yourself lucky...

Go buy some junk you can make into some crude real-dangerous-like weapons and smoke those hornets and wasps into the ground. I had a similar experience, not quite as bad, when I was walking to a General Store near my friends cottage. I was going to buy some candy. Tra-la-la-la-la! Ouch. A hive. 15 nasty bees. Screw the candy. I ended up getting some nice butane and metal pipe with a capped end. Burn you yellow bastards, burn. >)
