| I'm suprised the Wing Cap isn't even in this poll, there would be tough choices then. But I'd still go for the leaf because I can control where I fly instead of flying in one direction, plus Mario looks cool with the raccoon tail and ears.  |

| Depends on what, Mario looks nifty with an tail... But I like the cape better in a way. You can fly alot longer away with the cape than raccon leaf. Heh you can skip most levels in that way...  |

| you can fly forever with the cape and it's way faster when attacking. you can also stay flying if you fly into a vine or rope with the cape. and if you are hit while gliding you just stop flying and dont power down (even if you're on a vine or rope!) the cape is bettah (edited by frantik on 03-16-04 06:57 AM) (edited by frantik on 03-16-04 07:05 AM) |

| Hmm. tough decision but I prefer the cape feather over the raccoon leaf. While you have more control with the leaf, with the right takeoff and timing, you can easily fly over levels. Besides, If you want control with the cape, grab an item (like a shell or P-Switch) before you take off. I do agree though that Raccoon Mario looks cooler than Cape Mario.  |

| The Raccoon Leaf. It is easier to use than the cape. (It took me a while to know how to fly with the cape, while it took me a minute to know how with the leaf when I played both SMB3 and SMW.) | |||

| SMW was the first game I ever owned, though I had played the NES a lot. However, this is about style, not function. The racoon gear was pimpin! The cape just doesn't have the same panache. I mean, where are the ears?! Would you rather pummel somebody with an ass-slap, or a wimpy wrist-flick? The choice is obvious. |

| If you want controll over the cape, use a spin jump takeoff, instead of a regular one. The cape easily beats out the feather if you know this technique. Also, it was the Tanooki suit that let you fly and statuize. There should be a poll on P-Wing V.S. Tanooki suit... |
