On a board like this, if I were to type a long string of symbols, it would break the table, ie:

[edit by HH] We all know what a broken table looks like, no need to demonstrate. [/edit]

Is there a justification or something that I can use to make the text flow within the defined space of the table without using line breaks or spaces?

Specify the table width. That's all I can think of. It shouldn't break out.

It shouldn't, but it does.

Even the trick I used to make my EXP bars fit doesn't work (If you're wondering, the tables with the bars are inside another table of a predetermined width, in my case 500 pixels. You'll note some obscene numbers for the width of the bars themselves, something like 4880 for the Enemy Yellow bar)
