For me, when you become "comfortably numb"  The good drunkness, when you still have control over everything, can talk properly and are aware of that actions have consequenses. The point where sitting in a chair is so damn comfortable that you dont care about a thing. |

| Well, I'd say it's when I start doing stuff that seem perfectly reasonable at the time, yet incredibly idiotic once I get sober. I remember once, I was supposed to test if I was drunk, for some reason. So I ran over to some nearby rocks, and started jumping between them. I believe the idea was that if I could do it without falling, I wasn't drunk. Or something. |

When I'm drunk, I flirt with anyone and everyone... I lose all my inhibitions totally. I also like to shout a lot  The last time I was off my head completely was my joint birthday party (with a good friend from university). We conspired to give another friend an awful wedgie. I had my birthday friend talk to my wedgie friend and then I actually lifted up my wedgie friend off the floor (he plays DDR to a high level; he's very light) by his underwear. He was in pain for the rest of the evening and I didn't have another drink for a couple of weeks. I really regretted it. Another sign of me and my friends being drunk is reciting lines from comedies like Red Dwarf and Father Ted. The song "Geordies are Lightweights" is particularly favoured by one of my friends  Oh, and one other thing is great to do when you're drunk. Try to find a bar that has a DDR cabinet. I actually improved when I was drunk, and it was very fun indeed (although when the demo rolled after the high scores after my credit ran out, I was convinced I was still playing )(edited by Kasumi-Astra on 05-31-04 07:36 PM) |

| I guess I consider "drunk" to be me having a good time with little to no inhibitions. But after about 9 cups of (american) beer I'm at that point. Then I can actually dance because I usually don't like to - I don't feel loose enough. There are different levels of drunkenness though. Last year I got high (which I practically never do) and drunk at the same time and I don't remember much of that night. I'm told I said some pretty lewd things as well. |

| I consider myself to be drunk when my perceptions/reactions are noticeably slower (noticeably to myself, anyway), when I have lessened motor control, and when the room begins to spin. Another big tip off that I don't have until the next day is when I don't remember things, which actually happens quite often when I drink. As for typing, well, I'm a near-perfect typist when drunk, so you guys could probably never tell unless I said anything. |
