I want to see this girl again, and we had an agreement. (I mean just see her, not go out with her or any of that shit, I'm in a relationship already, but I just want to hang out with her, like what friends do), but she doesn't want to anymore.

The reason is because things are going well between her boyfriend and her, so she doesn't want to risk the chance of falling in love with me again (long story).

I'd be happy to lie to my parents and travel the distance, just because it's a. something to do, and b. I get to hang out with a friend.

So, basically, I'm bieng tossed aside. She's bieng a hypocrit as well, because she dumped her last boyfriend for going out with some friends instead of her.

Jesus Christ, all I want to do is hang out with a friend of mine...something I don't get to do much thanks to lack of friends, overbearing parents and lack of friends' interests.

My summer may not be very bad, as things have changed for the better, but I'm still sick of bieng treated like a rag doll, because other similar times this girl has treated me like this, and frankly, I really don''t have the courage and heart to not be friends with her anymore.

Because, of the lack of friends, as I mentioned earlier.

So, this is a incoherent rant, you don't have to reply if you don't want to. I'll probably get out of this somehow, and have a fun summer with my girlfriend and parents.

And working on a farm every week. Could be worse, I could be dead, or living in a third world country, or working in a sweatshop. So, I'm a-okay, I guess.

All I could say is try to make more friends. If you don't want this to continue you have to tell people. Try to make a new friend or two though.

Well, good news. The girl won't talk to me anymore over something completely trivial thatr would actually cost her to lose something very trivial.

And some more. I'm actually going to try to make more friends, by the act of going to the mall. Hopefully, I meet a frew people there.

These situations come up from time to time. Sometimes it's because of silent dislike, and other times it can be a simple difference in two people's respective concepts of what friendship is. For the latter condition, it can seem to one person like the other is only pretending to be a friend, which leaves one feeling fairly used.

I can't rightly say which situation you're in. Could be the first, could be the second, could be an entirely different situation altogether; but either way, you'd probably be better off not wasting your time with her. If she doesn't find you worth talking to, you shouldn't find her worth worrying over.

Making friends in real life isn't too tough. You just need to find the right people. But in the meantime, there's always internet message boards!

Well, I didn't make any friends at the mall, but hey! I got a new watch.

I'm probably just overreacting...I mean, I don't have to make new friends to replace one, esepcially over the summer. They're always school and then college.

umm waste your life on the internet every day. Don't do this just kidding.

I don't think the mall is the best choice try some where that is less populated. Try the swimming pool or the arcade or some crazy thing.

My advice is that you have to let friends come to you. I, myself, am an outcast because I'm SpecialEd (I have a certain kind of Autism called Aspurger's Syndrome, it affects my social skills), but hey, I don't really mind anymore because I have my own mind to keep me company. I have friends because ANYONE else who has Autism or Aspurger's Syndrome is my brother. It took me 7 years of no friends (Kindergarden through 6th Grade) to finally make one, and he has a disability too.

I rarely have any friends, so mainly I understand what it's like. In kindergarten, I had no friends whatsoever. I was often alone. I was in one of those private schools, so it wasn't easy for me to come across any friends at all, but it's true; you have to let them come.

I have a small amount of friends but at least I have some. My paernts suck and sometimes my friends are doing other things so I know how you feel. Making new friends is an okay thing to do but usually I always have my sister to hang out with..which isn't a bad thing. I'm sure you'll find a way to get by this summer. Don't worry about the not having friends issue. Make the best of it with yourself, girlfriend, or anyone else interested at the moment to hang out with.

Yeah...it's actually not that bad. I've been keeping myself busy by doing errands for myself. . And today, my girlfriend gets back from Corpus Christi, and I'm going to a staff orientation thing at church, because I'm going to help out with this middle school thing.

So yay.

well.. if that girl dosen't want to talk to you, then just let her go... she'll want to be friend with you when her boyfriend has dumped her... It's good that you spend time with your girlfriend and that you do errands and stuff, but really, you can't just be doing those things all the time... try and go to the mall and stuff... but watch out for all the bimbos, there are some of them there..
Don't worry, be happy.

I have a feeling that RoboticParanoia is over this now...considering it's been a month and a half since the thread was first posted, and that's a month bump so...
