Yep seen it before to. One user had it as a userpicture for some time even (or maybe it was minipic).  Didn't look that good. And about Firefox's slow GIF animating. Windows own in-built gif preview shows it very slow to. I have no idea why Firefox and windows preview thing plays GIF slow, but IE views GIF's fast.
