Hi, I am back. I do have a few problems tho, so on with the questions. 1. I am trying to use some of the ExGFX from the ExGFX work shop thread. But when I try insert them like it is listed on the top of the thread, the graphics look messy. 2. How do I insert a pallet like those there is include with the sets in the ExGFX Work shop thread? I tried playing around with it, but I could figure it out. 3. How do I edit the normal graphics. I tried edit it with the 8x8 tile editor and do like the small tutorial in the help file. But It don't simply work. I basicly wanna do a hack with handmade graphics like Juggling Joker's. Yes, I know it. I am a bit stupid to those things. :/ (edited by Torn on 05-22-04 03:38 PM) |

1. I know. 2. File > Load Palette from file 3. You have to press f9 to save them, then insert them (green mushroom icon) to actually have them in your game. (edited by Toadeeboy on 05-22-04 03:59 PM) |

1 & 2) IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE FILES IN THE EXGFX WORKSHOP, PLEASE ASK IN THE EXGFX WORKSHOP THREAD! If I see any more idiocy like this, the Workshop will be taken down. That is not a threat, it's a promise and a warning! I worked so hard on writing that easy-to-use guide in the first post... and to have it ignored, BAH! >=( 3) Read the Lunar Magic help file! *Knuckles T15X is obviously annoyed to the extreme because of the general stupidity of newcomers |

Originally posted by Knuckles T15X There is something you don't get. First of all, I am not a newcomer, so please take that reply back. Well, I thought first I'd put it in the ExGFX Work Shop thread. But as I had other questions I didn't think would belong in the thread. There is the simple reason for that, do you understand? And yes, I did read the tutorial/guide. Don't even say I didn't. I followed every single line in the guide, but it didn't work. I read the guide 3times and every time it didn't work out for me. You are allowed to call me idiot if you want that. God, do you think I am a complete retard? Yes, I did look under 8x8 tile editor in the help file and followed the steps listed there. And it didn't work, I don't know what I did wrong. Yes, I know I am very a bit stupid to this, but don't fucking flame me like that. (edited by Torn on 05-22-04 04:39 PM) |

Did you read my post? I'll explain number 1 in extreme detail. *Takes deep breath* The game uses an in-game tileset for making its original map16 tiles so on the second page of map16 it uses the right pixels because the 8x8 tiles are placed correctly and most exgfx from the workshop doesn't fit this in-game tileset so you'll have to set up the custom map16 that comes with it and add only those objects. I don't know how you could have read the help file and still not know. Did you right-click to add the tile that's in the bottom display? That's what you have to do. |

Originally posted by Toadeeboy It worked, thanks Toadeeboy! I guess I must have did something wrong the first times I tried it. And Knuckles : I'm sorry, I know I should posted it in the work shop thread. Please don't hate me. :/ I just thought asking all 3 questions in the work shop tread would be too messy. But I guess I am too stupid, sorry. The ExGFX work shop thread is very useful and cool, thanks for starting it up in first place. |

I don't hate you, man, I've just become really annoyed at questions I hoped would never have to be asked again. |
