I'm looking for a concept to make an online RPG around. I thought 'bout ninja pirates, but want to see some other options. Had one already... sheep, but try to work that one out Anyways, I'm trying to make an online RPG to practice my php-skills, but want it to be good too, so that I don't have to change the whole setting halfway through making it. Oh, and nothing like those annoying links from that infernal Kings of Chaos   |

| message board style RPG pwnz. =O Space pirates sound good, but it's a bit done. Either that or I've been talking to someone who love Skies of Arcadia too much. :/ Would it be heavy story, or jsut gameplay fun...? I'll just assume it's for gameplay, as I can't imagine a php-based heavyplot RPG.... maybe the old magic-meets-tech thing. Might of been done alot, but can you really get tired of that kinda stuff...? |

| Nah, nothing space-like or fantasy-like. I'm tired out of my pants of all those technical, hoitytoity suckers that spend more time in showing what they can think of than in making a decent story or having the whole world look natural. Compare Star Trek to Cowboy Bebop and you'll understand. The RPG'll eventually have a bit of a story, but it's first priority is to have a setting in which I can toy around with php, honing (Mmmm... honey) my skills while not having Yet Another Online RPG, but having something that's not done yet, something that'd keep people interested. |
