| Well, it's a lot earlier than I expected...even though it's been quite a while (not counting WIPs) that there's been a new version since 1.36. The date is set for June 20th of this year. Source is from pagefault's thread, which can be located on ZSNES's board here. |

Now I hope my problems with Starfox 2 is gone, sure there is a special build for handling Starfox 2 but... ![]() And I do hope that graphical bugs that occoured in some games are fixed now. I never downloaded the WIP versions BTW... main reason is netplay support. And I don't want 4545646 diffrent versions of Zsnes on my harddrive. ![]() |

| On that by zelnaga: 'one feature that comes to mind is flicker-free support for the latest beta of star fox 2. i'm using the NSRT verified version, and i still get flickers. i say flicker-free support is finished because, iirc, _Demo_ released a version of ZSNES 1.36 that supported a flicker-free star fox 2. pagefault, as i recall, declined to add support for this until an official release. another thing that i was kinda under the impression was waiting for an official release was S-DD1 support...' Yea...that definitely helps...considering I have a decent version of it now...and running it on ZSNES 1.36 makes it look like utter crap... |

| Graphics problems? Unsupported games? Never experienced that with zsnes, but I guess there's a first time for everything. Hmm, now I can't wait! | |||

I would love it if Tactics Ogre (J) ran properly in ZSNES and support the GFX settings right ![]() SNES9x just runs crappily on my comp, either too fast or too slow and it's not satisfying me at all, thus I don't emulate TO with it, although it is supported fully (!) ![]() (edited by Gandalf The Grey on 05-18-04 02:42 PM) |

| I hope they make the interface look better, because it just looks ugly to me compared to the other emulators I use (and I use a lot of them, lol). I actually don't like either zSNES or SNES9x as they are.... SNES9x has a better-looking interface, but the key assignments for save-states are weird... in zSNES I can change almost every key assignment to what I want, but the interface is ugly... ![]() |

Originally posted by NightHawk Really? I like the GUI, you can even give water effects, change colours, etc. etc. I wonder when the last one will be released? I mean, an emulator can only go so far. Maybe it can include support for Game Boy games (Like the Super Game Boy) but that wouldn't fit the name ![]() |

About the GUI. It works perfect in fullscreen mode, but in windowed... well it acts like it was the only thing on the screen. I can see things behind but not interacting with them. ![]() And I don't think you would see a emulator with Gameboy support. After all most gameboy emulators do have support for Super gameboy. ![]() |

| I don't mind ZSNES in windowed mode, I used it like that in Win98 even. I think as long as you're used to it (and have used it for years), it's not such an inconvenience. Just minimize it when you're not using it. ![]() |

![]() Yeah but I've probably used the emulator longer than you. I used it in DOS - *DOS*! (...On my 486. Nevermind.) |

I never could get ZSNES running in DOS on my 486, thought I would like to get it running in DOS mode on that computer. Under Windows it's slow and unstable. ![]() |
