I've started watching fansub Sailor Moon episodes of the first "series" and found out a character that was depicted as a girl in the states was actually a guy in Japan  and the american ending to the first "series" is abbreviated (the condensed two episodes into one)but anyways, what is your take on Sailor Moon? | The last time I saw Sailor Moon on TV, was a commercial for it one day when I was seven. After X-Men ended, they would do a little preview of the coming episode. I never watched any of them though; as the commercials didn't do it (and girls had cooties). |

This was the first anime I ever saw. Although the first one I watched was really far into the series and I wasn't very familiar with the characters, it was a pretty good anime. |

My sister watch Sailer moon whenever it's on TV. It looks quite good and the Swedish dub isn't that awful... thought I would like to see the orginal Japanse version.  (I heard that the US dub sucks...  )And Sailor moon is the only anime they show here  , save for Pok |

| Eh I watched Sailor Moon a couple times..well maybe one or two episodes. It was okay but it wasn't anything I'd want to watch consistently. I remember my cousins when I spent the night there..they'd get up at 5 A.M just to watch it . Maybe they were used to it . I'd watch it again most likely though just to get more of a feel of it. |

| I admit, I have seen my share of Sailor Moon in my day. It was alright (not sure how it stacks up, considering the only anime I had seen to that point was just DBZ). All I remember was that Sailor Jupiter was my favorite. I like brunettes.  |

| Sailor Moon was cool, it was the first anime I ever saw and is still on my top 10 favorites list. I loved how they built up the characters introducing them with their cool powers. Jupitor and Venus were my favorite. It's such a pitty they canceled the eps here as they were getting excellent rating. Replaced by that Jacky Chang show  It's left a good impression on me to answer your question. The hole atmosphere of good and evil really showed, and it kept the show going by introducing new characters. I remember going to school dress-up day as Sailor Jupitor (as i am brunette) I won second prize for my costume |

| I would hae to agree with Melvin on both parts! Anyway, hate the american version of the anime. Urg....it's just, well, wrong how the kiddie it up so much. I've got Sailor Moon S on DVD, Sailor Stars on VHS, all the movies on VHS, and now I'm trying to get them all on DVD, most likey starting with ther orginal series from Japan (and I just got the R and Super S movie on DVD). |

| My opinion about the anime, it sucks. And it has scarred me for the rest of my life :/ But the Live Action series is quite good, really good if you still have some humour. As for the swedish dub, as with almost any other dubs, it's pure crap. |

| I mean, I got into Sailor Moon in '97, when I was 17 and it was because a friend of mine showed me the Japan version of the anime. So I was never really exposed to the american, crappy version. Thank goodness. |
