| Growing pains hurt, especially when you are doing something and they come on suddenly. I was running outside the other day and I got this growing pain shot through my foot. Felt like the thing snapped in two.... then it went away.... strange. | |||

| Only pains I had growing up was in my back...mainly when I was asleep. I would wake up with this god aful pain shooting through my back and it hurt like hell, then 1 minute later I felt good and fall asleep. Sometimes, but rare, I would get them during the day. | Hot water bottles and/or heating pads are always my friend in the case of growing pains. This sounds like a more serious one, so maybe some acineminophin(sp?) could help, too. And if that fails, go for some morphine at the local hospital! |
