| Page rendered in 0.071 seconds. I think it was like around 0.100-0.200 beofore... not sure.  Somewhat faster, it would be even faster it was in Sweden for me hehe.  All I wonder is favicon. Why does Acmlm board have three XXX. Isn't it possible to have that SMB3 cactus? |

The new host is fine -- but I hope that we don't run into the same zero-sized replies that we ran into before.  Right now, threads are loading fast -- since there aren't 700,000 posts to shuffle through and 30,000 threads. As more and more posts and threads continue to get added to the database, that's what will decide whether or not the change in server/host was an improvement. |

| hmm... page 1 on this thread rendered in 0.227 seconds... pretty much on par with Acmlm's old server for me. This reply page loaded in 0.111 seconds.... for almost completely text-based page, I'm surprised it didn't load a bit faster, but perhaps Jesper, who is the only other person in this forum slowed it down a bit... or maybe everyone on the board is replying to something so it had to load newreply.php for everyone ;-) Either way, it's fast here and it was fast there, so I really don't see why the big deal. Let's just hope we don't have all the errors and not much downtime. |

| well, I'm talking about the actual database of the board.... a lot of boards are slower because the server or connection are bad.... or because the user base is so much larger than this one that it is just slower to be on it.... but in actuality.... if the same connection and board size etc were on this board type and another, the other one would be faster.... not noticeably for most.... but it would be |
