Maybe Soldiers will think twice about taking photos of themselves abusing Iraqis.

If I was that Woman in the US photos, or the men behind the faked UK photos, I'd be thinking bloody hard about how sorry I should be.

[stares]....

maybe people should stop killing/torturing/raping each other.... then maybe all this revenge/retalliation shit would go away...

I don't really understand what the guards were thinking when they did what they did.... it's shameful.... and now someone else is dead because of their actions.... I hope all of them see the video and listen to him scream so that they will never forget what happened

In all honesty man, they probably just used that as an excuse to kill the guy. I don't think that the photos that were released warrant cutting someone's head off. (Though as I said not negotiating with them might have done the job.)

even though im not american, I dared to see the video, so I hopped on kazaa and whaddya know, it was there, so I got it, I swear it was very very gruesome and disgusting, if I was the president, I would bomb all of iraq problem solved lol, although im pretty sure it would cause more problems, some things just cant be solved...at first I thought they were gonna use an axe, but of course they had to do it the most painful way ever....and also, that guys family should sue the government.....

It's not the US. It's the fucking Bush administration. Mostly Rumsfeld, the ass hair on the shit-encrusted sphincter of humanity known as neoconservatism.

Get them out of there. Now. We're supposed to be above fucking torture. And when OTHER TERRORISTS condemn your actions as against your own religion... you've got fucking problems.

I didn't think it would be that bad, seeing as I've looked at gruesome photos before. In fact, the video was quite poor quality it wasn't too gruesome, but replaying it in your mind makes it more graphic. Those men who carried it out must be highly fucked up in the head to do something like that to another human being.

I got the video from ogrish.com. That site is not for those with weak stomachs.

I'll say. I certainly got a taste of old world barbarism when I watched it. It's a sad and pathetic thing to watch someone die like that. I haven't felt both so angry and so sad since the 9/11 attacks.

Yes, yes, I mean the US government, led by the Bush administration.

All I'm seeing is that everyone hates iraq now, because they value the life of an american more than the life of an Iraqi. When Iraqis die, it's because there just can't be a war without civilian casualties, when Americans die, it's a fucking national tragedy.

Well, there's a little difference between airing the deliberate (and gruesome, for you TV/internet viewers) killing of an innocent man, live on TV, and the accidental killing of an innocent man in a bombing. Especially when his own fucking people set off the car bomb that killed him.

I don't justify the deliberate torture or killing of innocents, ever. No matter whose side, ours or theirs. It's fucking ridiculous.

Well, that's what the americans deserve for letting their own people stay there in Iraq. Besides, who the fuck asked the americans to invade Iraq????
They found no weapons, they stole the oil and now they are paying with their own lives.

Roxwel, I don't care if you think the war was justified or not, but no one deserves that kind of death just like no one deserves the humiliation that those Iraqi prisoners went through either.

"if I was the president, I would bomb all of iraq problem solved lol"

If you can explain to me why that would solve anything, then I'll give you a million dollars.

That sounds nice and everything, I used to say that stuff but then I opened my eyes and realize that kind of world will never exist. This world will never see a thing like that, where no one gets hurt or killed.

What's your point....

No one deserves it, is what he said. He didn't say anything about a utopia.

No one deserves to be tortured. None.

And yes I saw it BTW, no I didn't download it. I had computer class today and my classmates showed it. It wasn't as bad as I thought as I didn't get sick of it... but I do loathe violence. (real world one, not "videogame/movie" violence)

But it made me angry that people can do thigns like this. And this wasn't so long time after the "torture" in that prison...

Granted, but HOW they die is another story. In war, you have to remember that your enemy is another human being and not some savage. On one side, you could be fighting for the greatest cause and on the other side...the same thing.

That's why war is pretty stupid. In this world, who's to say who's right or wrong?

Ok, while I respect that there are SOME people out there defending the murder. Though, I highly doubt the way Nick Berg was a very good one. I would LOVE to see you be put in his shoes and say the same thing, because you'll be an innocent person dying a more than cruel death. While it's understandable to see that they were pissed off about the Americans abusing prisoners, as we all are about it. I'm pretty sure it's not right to decapitate an innocent man.

Also, are you saying that everybody that has died in Iraq, both Iraqi and coalition forces something to say this about? They are fighting for a cause apparently and if people only thought like this, things would be really dim...

(Sorry about the blank post, I was going to say something but I was dull-witted at the time...)

They deserve getting an innocent man, who went to Iraq to HELP the Iraqi's die the most graphic and humiliating death? Good one.
