Jesus Christ people, DON'T USE PNG. PNG = PORTABLE Networks Graphic. PORTABLE. Nearly 1 damn meg for a 1024x768 image. On a piss-slow sever. 129kb as a jpeg with compression set to 20.

PNG isn't smart or trendy for these, it's stupid. Might as well use a bitmap.

it is almost 1 meg, but I assure you its not slow, if it was when you tried going there, it was because my brother was playing BG2...otherwise its fast.

Excuse me while I beat you with the stupid stick.

Files for this should probably be around 200-400KB in size or less. A meg isn't 400KB. That's more bandwidth getting reamed from one server for a file that could've been easily made smaller to look almost similar.

Course we've yet to have someone submit a BMP.

"It's 1 meg but it's not slow" -> It'd load 4x faster if it were 1/4 the size... 7x faster as 1/7th the size, AS IT IS IN THIS CASE... so 60 seconds is reduced to 8.6, and it took around 30-60 seconds for that to load. At 30K/sec, probably the max your server can dish out if it's from your home internet connection (cable), it's about 30 seconds to load that image!
