| I'm sorry folks, but if given the proper situation, I wouldn't hesitate to throw together and don a Kefka costume. I've been plotting to do so for years, now. As for the pics, they were certainly interesting. That one of Mario reaching out (which I think is the Mario from the Super Mario Bothers' Super Show?) is damned creepy... and a little hillarious. The only other one I've to comment on is that shitty Black Mage in his bedroom. As bad as the costume is, that horrid DBZ-esque pose is what really makes the photo bad. I don't really hate DBZ, but it's nothing spectacular byfar. And any mixing of that and my beloved Final Fantasy is just wrong. |

Search for Inuyasha, you get dozens. Full image not available... thankfully.  Could that be any more wrong? The hair is black. (Yes, I know his hair's black in mortal form, but that happens quite rarely, and white looks way better. ) The face is way off, the sleeves are too small, and the pants don't tighten at the bottom. Plus, I would swear that's a girl. Oh yeah, and about 32767 other mistakes in the costume. At least they got the idea, but that hair is all wrong, the undershirt is white as opposed to brownish gray, and the rest look absolutely NOTHING like their characters. (Plus why's Kouga there?)  Finally one with the ears. Sesshomaru looks all wrong, and I'm not even going to try to figure out who the other person is.  Not bad, the redeye fits well. They really don't look anything like the characters though, especially Miroku. Angelfire must die. No comment. | I like looking at Japanese cosplay sites, because then it is a very main stream thing over there, and that means there are mucho hot chicks that dig it. Over here...I went to an anime convention in my town. You know, pick up some cheap DVDs. You know what I did? I left when I saw 3, yes 3, girls with moustaches, not fake, but real hairy lips, congregating around the front door, all dressed like fools. Their costumes were of poor worksmanship, and they were far too tight for women (I'm sure they're nice people) of their size There was also the 300 pound Tidus. That scarred me beyond recognition. |
