| Maybe it wasn't perfect, but the standard Mario is SO overused. I don't care what else you come up with, find something I'm able to insert into a hack. BTW: Any advice on editing SMWs ending text? | Chickenlump was doing a bunch. He did a Koopa and a Goomba. Dunno where they are now, after the board crash and such. Editing the FONT used in SMW: 1) Open up AllGFX.bin in your favorite tool. 2) Switch the format from 4bpp SNES to 2bpp GB 3) Scroll down to the graphics. Yes, they are saved in this older format because you don't need 16 color fonts. =P 4) Make your changes and save. Note that there is no 8, 9, $, /, or # in the font set used for text boxes. If you don't need Yoshi's paw print, put these characters in it's spot. |
