Spiffy... we had the monitor-under-glass thing at my high school in our humanities lab.

My desk has several dozen wires running across the back, and my keyboard is currently balanced on top of a mountain of memos and neatly stacked garbage to make room for my homework. And there's about seven or eight pens lying around in random spots. Give or take.

Interesting way to make the screen not take up a lot of space on the desk ... but that must be weird, looking down to the screen like that

Anyway, here's mine ... from last summer, but the only important change is that I have a new radio and bigger speakers next to the computer now

Anya that was the strangest desktop I have seen, is it comfortable? It's saves space at least.

Heck I have problem at home, you see every desktop expect for the one in my sisters room have computer on it. So I have to draw/do homework in the kitchen, or on the sofa....

I think your neck is going to hurt quite a bit from looking down all the time Anya. Quite frankly, my room is too small... Hardly enough space for a bed and a desk I dont use often

Very comfortable, it is. I don't even have to look down at it. I can lean in the chair and still see the screen pretty good.

Bad when the cats walk on it, though.

by the way, Anya, are you left handed?
Since the mouse is on the left side of the desk.
Im left handed, but I've always used the mouse with my right hand, which is about everything I use it with

Hm... The tower and a huge stack of CD's, as well as my gamepad are on the left. Center is my speakers, monitor and keyboard, with the mouse to the right of that. On the right is my printer and a few books/papers/etc.

Not perfect but I have just enough room to do things without knocking stuff over.

I'm right-handed. Until I get my wireless mouse, I'm stuck. We put the tower stand on the left side, and the wire for the mouse doesn't reach over.

It doesn't bother you that your desk glass is tinted blue?

And how securely held is your monitor?

Nice idea.

Everyone has shots of their desks, it makes my desk look so plain.
(Acmlm even has a window behind his monitor. )

But to jazz stuff up, I placed my Gamecube on my desk, seeing as how my TV is sitting at the tippy top of the desk tower thingy.

Acmlm, where are your speakers in that shot? Are they off camera?

And you have a black computer! Me too!

Black computers can't get that yucky yellow tint that old white computers get.

Well, I can't take a screenshot of mine, so I'll describe. It's a wooden desk I've had for like 10 years, that's half broken thanks to me, lol. On it in middle is my monitor and speakers of course, to the left, my Lexmark X83. Infront of that on my left, is my junk food and soda section, with some playstation 2 games stacked on top of each other, and a lamp. Below that, is a bookcase thing with some books of mine like gaming magazines, programming books, dictionaries, a phone book, some printer paper. To my right in the floor is my PC tower, and behind that on the desk, is the telephone, some pencils. And above that in the CD disk case thing I have is like these bottles of shampoo and hair conditioner. :/ And beside that to the right is actually where all my CDs and floppies are stacked up, easier to keep them over there, since the CD rack built in my desk doesn't have 35342 slots, lol. And then on the top of my desk is just some figurines, like a Yoda figure, Mario, Yoshi, a Lighthouse, palm tree, gold dragon, and a jewelery box with a picture of a knight's horse head on the top that has my class ring inside.

Here is it, My beatifull big wooden desk.

The shot is about a year old now, so, the cube is not there, but rightmost under the desk, with the second monitor too.

I may stack them up again.
