What would you do if these items were on your scavenger hunt list:

  • Bring in a "McDonald's Sad Meal"
  • find a graduate thesis written on napkins or
  • demonstrate conclusively that there really is a wrong way to eat a Reese's.


those are a few items from an article at yahoo that said scavenger hunt was under way and that was a few items on the list. so that lead me to wonder, what would be some unusual scavenger hunt times you can think of?

By definition, it'd be hard.

Here's a few difficult things for you to find:

-A mirror-coated car. (Video games don't count.)
-The full source codes and compilers for Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, and Windows 95.
-A 1-bit CPU.
-A rap song that doesn't suck.
-A one-word, English rhyme for Orange.
-A 4-letter word ending in "morf".

First one to find them all gets a cookie.

Aw man! When I saw this thread, I thought that it was an actual AcmlmBoard scavanger hunt.

We should do one of those. Have someone make up a list (of things you can actually find), and have everyone who participates take pics of the items wtih digicams, then upload them, and post a set of links to their collection when they're finished.

Also, the word ai is in the dictionary, and it's NOT an abbreviation! It apparently means the same as "sloth."
