| I don't see any topics on this game... http://www.guildwars.com/ It's an "MMORPG" if I can call it that... more like Diablo 2 I think, it's not clear yet. It looks really great, and there won't even be any monthly fee! (There will be expansions every 6-9 months though, it seems, but you don't have to buy them). Everyone who wants to try it can play on the 12th of may to the 14th during E3, you can download the client now if you want, and it's not big.  |

| Yep yep, been looking forward to this for a few months now ever since I heard someone mention it while playing Lineage II. Not only will there not be any monthly fee, but the client is free as well. Everybody wins. I'm curious as to how gameplay is going to be though. They mentioned that there wont be any kill stealing, slow level grinds, difficult levels to reach before you can do cool stuff, etc... |

| I'm not sure about the client being free... There won't be any kill stealing because when you go on missions its only you and your party, you can't meet anyone else. |

| Neat, I've seen the name a couple of times but I never looked into it. It looks very nice judging by the screenshots. And if it's free, then damn, first game I've seen released free directly when gold. I wouldn't worry about them going bancrupt, they're part of NCSoft, the makers of Lineage 1, 2, and other things I believe. I didn't see a trailer of sorts anywhere on the webpage, is there one? I'd like to see it in motion. |

| Actually I've heard just the opposite. People with crappy PC's are finding it's better than most online games. Note that it will appear to be a little laggy in towns (by laggy I mean other players will appear to warp. NOT your character) But this is simply due to the volume of people trying out the game. You should try it out. My main character is "Prince Albrecht" And I'm a Warrior/Monk. He's litterally a Human Meat Shield. He does great, and I'm on mission 4  |

| Well it was fun. I think it still needs, work I sent in a bunch of bug reports. I got my complete crafted suit of armor for my Warrior so I'm good. By the time I was done, I had my plate armor, and a Hammer which was 17-27 (Cold) So I was doing fine It's not too bad, but I'm still more excited about WoW than I am about Guildwars. |

I had a 17-24 (fire) hammer and a plate helmet. I wanted to enjoy the seige wars more than the missions.  It was fun though, there's a very good chance I buy it when it comes out. If WoW comes out before and bombs, that is. |
