| Err... I posted a thread in Programming about my layout.. they said to come here.. but this thread didn't help me much either. Well.. what I want to do is have my text appear in this cell.. but to the left in a neat little scrollbox thing. Then put the rocky horror lips to the right of it, I have a picture all ready and everything, I just need to know how to acheive the scrollbox. SS: I edited your profile and fixed it. Basically, when you link to something with a picture as a link, add border=0 to the img tag  Spyware: If just your topimage takes up more space than a fullpostlayout then I think it's pretty much common sense that it's too big. You can have it on the side or integrate it more into the layout instead of just smacking a picture there. SnowTomato: Hope you know css... .scrollbar { height: XXXpx width: XXXpx overflow: auto; } And don't forget to take a somewhat big pixelsize, we don't like tiny postareas with a scrollbar in it. Recommended size, 350-400px width, 200-300px height. |

| I understand some CSS.. but not enough so that I can get it to work.. I tried it out how I thought it would go.. and basically messed up the entire thing. Would I have to have my entire layout coded in CSS for that code to work, or is there a way to incorporate it into an HTML layout? I'm still confuzzeled.. Thanks for the help thoughh :]~ |

| Ok heres a question...perhaps a stupid one but never mind. Ive got that picture to the left of the red and blue yin yang, which is basicly placed their through the CSS style sheet i use. What im wanting to know is if there is a way that I can replace that with a small Flash Animation? Decided to try something new but its got me puzzled. I can add the animation i made into the html but it doesnt look correct 'cause that area is CSS coded and it pushes all the cells/sections into the wrong place. | I'd like to have help with a layout. Nothing fancy, just a background and maybe a link or GIF or something. I tried to use a picture of R'lyeh for my background in the soda topic in craziness domain, and you can see how that went. If someone could like, give me a way to keep it from tiling and have it align right, I would be eternally grateful. Just a question on the side, just how does one get all the cool stuff in their stats on the side of a post? Like quotes and colored text? | |||

If memory serves, and if you're asking what I think you're asking, there's a background: fixed property. I'm relatively sure there's one in CSS, not so sure about HTML. And regarding your background...uh, no you don't. Okay, now for why I'm here in the first place. You'll notice that I finally got both HP bars working. The problem is that the style of said bars clashes a bit with the style of my posts as a whole (Which is based on this image. The game I'm trying to emulate with the bars is Ys I & II...if anyone knows the font for player/enemy that was used in those games, or has an idea on a less clashy scheme, it would be appreciated. |
