| Teenage Angst is a pathetic small cry for un needed attention whores. This being said; a recent trend of "attention whores" have started up at EVERY forum I've been to. (Isn't too bad here).. It doesn't GET to me untill they start trying to make simple "omg she looked at my boyfriend she LOOKED at him" "problems" into "OMG SHES TEH LOOKIN AT HIM SO uhhHHhHh LYKE SHE WANTS TO KILL ME AND MY MOM IS TEH NOT KEWL" or when a teenager gets punished fairly and claims its child abuse.. Attention whores suck. And so does teenage angst. It also makes horrid TV. Here's my small bit of advice for you teenagers who have such angst. Go listen to Linkin Park; cut your wrist UP not ACROSS and make it out. |

| Teenage angst expresses itself in many ways. There are more subtle ways of attempting to grab attention than talking about meaningless angsty problems. For example, some people grab attention by being self-involved assholes towards anyone else. 'Your intelligence doesn't meet my self-involved standards. You are therefore a complete loser and I shall type insults at you until you leave my beloved board'. Notice the irony? O.o'' They tend to collect an 'entourage' of similar minded people who have nothing better to do with their time than make other people feel bad. Hence their attention. | Eh, teenaged angst is a part of life. Course, when you grow up a little, it looks stupid, and a lot of things that teenagers do is bloody cruel, but... thankfully they do grow out of it. Teenaged angst mostly comes from the fact that many teenagers feel that they are now old enough to look after themselves, but their parents do not feel that way yet. So, they feel like they're being treated like children, and they deal with it by listening to music their mother hates with lots of swearing in it (although a DAMNED lot of that music was good -- least in my day -- but I know I also got a kick out of how many times the word FUCK was used in a single song cause it'd drive Mum bonkers...), breaking all the rules, calling their parents abusive,.... blah blah blah. Basically being little hellraisers. Course, I am currently getting "adult angst" from my mother. I now know why I had such a complex about her in high school. She really IS irrational! It's not just my warped teenaged mind, she's irrational towards me when I'm an adult too. o.o Now, I have to go listen to Frenzal Rhomb on maximum volume. *sings* You're a fuck up, you're a joke, you're a clown take your pants down, get fucked you fucking fuckwit, you can't move into my house... |

| I clearly see teenager angst around here. Like this boy that keeps lying to his mom, goes to cinema really late.(not 10pm, more like 2am+) If it isnt as he says he keeps complaining....keeps complaining. And he acts like a superior guy, it just sicks me. |
