| Hello good people of the (NEW!) Acmlm Board! I'm Macbee. 99.9% of you never heard my name before, but there's no problem. I made a Super Mario World Hack centuries ago... Lunar Magic already was an awesome program, but I'm impressed with it's new features. Great work, Fusoya! I also want to congratulate the new Mario hackers. I saw new overworlds, GFX and title screens just impossible to be made when I used to "hack". And the custom blocks.... just wonderful... I would love to have used it in my old "Super Mario Dream World" game. "Super Mario Dream World" is a game I made in 2001 (I believe). My webpage with the game isn't online anymore, but a gentle person from Japan made a "step-by-step" guide to the game (I just found it recently and to be honest I'm flattered). | It's not Engrish if you're not Japanese. The term Engrish comes from the Japanese writing and speaking in English. They have a character which is a combination of L and R, and they don't have Ls and Rs, so in speech they always change Ls to Rs.(This is also true of V and B.) Hence, Engrish. | |||

I recently downloaded this from Edge... weird that you are posting.  I still haven't gotten past the first castle, it's too dark and weird for me  Other than that, looked good. But the overworld wasn't touched. Or was this some other game I'm thinking of? Oh well, become an active poster here, dude! EDIT: different game I'm thinking of. Super Mario Dream World was one of my favorite hacks back then, very origanal, and even minor things like the status bar were edited to fit the game! I think that you should continue the hack sometime, or restart it using LM's new features and Block Inserter. If you want, I'd be more than happy to guide you step by step through some of the things you might not understand, I remember you saying you didn't know how to do ExGFX, is that right? If you accept this offer, just PM me with the name or number you use for any instant messaging servaces you use, or if you use none, I could just help you via email or PMs. I'd be the happiest man alive if I could help bring back or restart the famed Super Mario Dream World! |

The overworld would be the real world, and Mario would travel around getting different themes of levels according to the country...  I could even maybe ask some foreign people on the board what the setting was like!And adding ExGFX to Dream World will make it one of the awesomest hacks ever.  |

| Looks interesting, I never played it though. The levels look challenging, very Mario-like, and mysterious. And now that ExGfx can be used, that could be updated, but it doesn't have to, a game isn't everything because of graphics. (edited by Atma X on 03-17-04 03:37 PM) |

I don't have an IPS file of the hack simply because I'm dumb enough to don't remember wich SMW ROM was used to create SMDW (D'oh)... Some people from the board already sent me e-mails asking for the ROM, so I keep saying: Write to me ( macbee@terra.com.br ) and I send the game! |

| I made an IPS patch of SMDW version 0.2 but I don't know if it will work for everybody because I have no info about my Super Mario World ROM.
