| My newest project is a Castlevania hack. The working title is Big Budget Castlevania Remake. I know I'm gonna get some gruff becaue there is already a couple of hacks that are remakes of CV1, but I don't care lol It's another chance to show off my Graphic... heh... so on with the screens!! New Title Screen! Yeah, I'm pushing the movie idea... I'm trying to make the game take place during different times of the day Some Shiny new graphics! The Simon sprite is supposed to look like the newer design for Simon Belmont (The zombies were made from classic Simon lol) *EDIT* 2 new screens of Level 2: DAY 1 Night (edited by Dr. Mario on 05-05-04 01:18 AM) |

| I'm going to change the level layouts, don't worry lol I just found that it's easier to edit Castlevania's graphics first, and then worry about the levels. The game, while similar is going to have new level layouts and such. I want to keep each area the same as far as what part of the castle it takes place in though. I want it to be like a re-make of Castlevania, kind of like what Castlevania Chronicles was (Hence the red haired Simon Belmont) | |||

| That really does look incredible. Maybe you could make two versions of the hack. One version can have the same layout of levels and new graphics. The other can have new levels. I'd play both. Most of those screens really give the feel like it could be on a system other than NES. A couple suggestions would be to do something about the outdoor levels. I don't know, probably pallete change and add a fence if you can maybe. Also should try to make the C in the title screen blend in better with the rest of the lettering. | The C in castlevania looks good to me , it kind of looks like a moon. Good job. I wish some one would hack the super nintendo versions. |
