| The thread on Overused Aliases made me want to ask: Where did your username come from, and why is it your username? My username was first made a long time ago when I found out about Neopets. I wanted to register an account, but didn't know of a name. I figured out my hobbies (computer games) and some other stuff. I used Basic a whole lot then, so I added that to cpu and there, cpubasic, was born... I guess. Later, I decided to add 13, my favorite number. Well, where did your username come from and why? |

| Well... there really isnt much to my username. Whenever I register for something online, Kirby will be the basis for my username. Then I just build from there. All the way just so happened to be what I came up with, so I stuck the two together and Kirby all the way was formed. Maybe I should consider changing to Kirby ATW here soon.... |

| This thread has popped up at least three times since I've been here, but it's interesting nonetheless. Silvershield is the surname of Callean, gallant paladin of the Order of the Motley Unicorn. He was originally Callaen, a high elf paladin in EverQuest, but upon being slain far from his homeland I decided that level 3 Callaen had seen his end. I deleted him to make a human instead, but the name filter continually rejected the name. "Callean" was the nearest replacement. Callean has seen all sorts of incarnations of the years, but he did not have a surname until his EverQuest version advanced to level 20 (the point at which a surname is allowed). I'd been contemplating on the name for some time, and finally input "Drowslayer." Alas, the surname filter didn't like me infringing on TSR's copyrights, and promptly rejected my attempt. Silvershield was what I came up with next. "Callean Silvershield" is a bit lengthy, so I use only "Silvershield" when possible. When length is not an issue, the paladin is always Callean Silvershield. |

I LOVE dragons!!  Although I have no visual representation of Drag yet, you can see a description of him in the story forum characters thread. Basically, if I were a dragon (and I WISH I were!! ) I'd be Drag. Drag Maulek. Now, Drag has two different forms. Dragon (default), and human. He's 100% a dragon who can take on a human form. Don't get that confused. The two forms work like this: Dragon <--------------------> Human It's basically a gradient, and Drag.5 (the sprite that USED to be in my custom title before we restarted) is somewhere around 55%-60% dragon on that gradient. Whever I get started describing Drag, I can't stop. And yeah, this thread is pretty frequently reoccuring.  |

| Mine has a huge story and several variations. theclaw isn't a nickname for myself, and it's definately not related to my real name. The Claw is a character I "created" that has a very confusing history. Unlike regular claws, The Claw has no gender, internal organs, eyes, etc. This topic will turn into a biology class if I describe everything... Remember: claws have nothing in common with cats, I defend that fact very seriously (you don't want to be flamed)! I'm not sure why I still use this name, it's starting to annoy me. The name is far better than my short-lived alias of Mirrorraichu though. Please, ask me if you need to know everything about my username(s). These facts also apply to the evil anti-claws and The Anti-Claw, so there's no reason to repeat the info. |

| Like theclaw, I don't often use Slash Dafter as a username. Slash was a wrestler I made on WWF No Mercy for N64. He originally was going to be called Dafter Punk, but I didn't like the "Punk" moniker. The only thing that I liked about the character was the name I gave him for his finisher, instead of the "Twist of Fate" its called the "Dafter Slash". I thought about making him Slash Dafter. It sounded good, so the name stuck. I used it on here rather than to make another Slim Oracle account on another message board. | |||
