The questions are seperated into catertoies: Bosses and Mini-Bosses(BMB) Challenges(Chll.) Metroid Sequence Breaking(MSQ) How to?(HT?) Locations(Loc.) Here are the first batch! BMB:Which Super Metroid BOSSES have the same HP? MSC:What trick is used for Space Jump First? Chll.:Which Bosses and mini-bosses CAN be beaten in a Super Metroid NBMB run? HT?:In normal game, what comes first, Speed Booster or Kraid's unkown item? Loc.:What room is the Omega Priate located? Brainbuster(3):HT?:It is possible to get to Ridley's Lair in Super Metroid? |

For HT? I assume you mean M:ZM... Unknown item comes first.... I'm pretty sure. |

Correct! The sequence you go through in Kraid's Lair is as follows(proving no sequence breaking is done): Activate Ziplines Fight Acid Worm Grab Unknown Item Beat Karid Grab Speed Booster Get out! ---------------- Score Clockworkz:1 ---------------- BMB:Which Super Metroid BOSSES have the same HP? MSC:What trick is used for Space Jump First? Chll.:Which Bosses and mini-bosses CAN be beaten in a Super Metroid NBMB run? Loc.:What room is the Omega Priate located? Brainbuster(3):HT?:It is possible to get to Ridley's Lair in Super Metroid? All questions need to be answered before another batch is posted! |

BMB I'm gonna go out on a limb here... Botwoon and Kraid? |

Both wrong! I'll give 2 hint. 1.The two are bosses(that takes out Torzo, Golden Trozo, Spore Spawn, and Botwoon). 2.Debug is your best friend! |

Draygoon and Ridley? | |||

Your closer! Ridley's one of them. Draygoon(6,000) has less HP than Ridley(18,000). As for Kraid, he as 1,000 HP. Just look for a boss that has 18,000 as well.

Since we are dealing with Super Metroid it sounds like...I'll take the Location question. The Omega Pirate...the only place I can picture it is one of those rooms in Lower Norfair that's on the way to Ridley. In other words, it's a required enemy to take out. I want to say there are two of them, though. |

BMB: Ridley and Mother Brain seems the most likely. Chall: what is a "NBMB" run? Brainbuster: Yes (that doesn't seem like a brainbuster... is there more to this question or something?) |

I think it's a Non-boss/mini-boss run...

MSC: I assume you're talking about Metroid Prime, right? Dashjump. (I hope its called that, if not, can I get points for explaining it?) Omega Pirate is in the Elite Quarters About the Brainbuster, do you mean how to get to Ridleys Lair? Its in Lower Norfair, Gravity Suit + Space Jump are used to get there (But I think you can do some kind of big jump involving the Gravity Suit, which involves presing Start, which may mean that you don't need the Space Jump...) wolfman: Omega Priate is Metroid Prime, not Super Metroid Disch: I'll give it to you. Ridley and Mother Brain's second form both have 18,000 HP, but two other bosses have the same HP(Mother Brain's first form is one of them). Edsgravy: A dash jump off the ship is used in Space Jump first. The Omega Priate is in Elite Quarters. As for the brainbuster, this has nothing to do with Lower Norfair. ____________ Score Clockworkz:1 Disch:1 Edsgravy0:1 _____________ Remaining Questions in Batch 1(clear all for batch 2): Chll.:Which Bosses and mini-bosses CAN be beaten in a Super Metroid NBMB run? Brainbuster(3):HT?:It is possible to get to Ridley's Lair in Super Metroid? (edited by SM_Gamer on 05-01-04 06:19 PM) |

Shouldn't I have 2 points?... For the NBMB, you can beat Space Station Ridley + Torizo under Crateria. Could you also reword the Brainbuster? I haven't a clue what you're asking. I mean, it's in the How To category and I told you how to get there. Unless you mean a different Metroid game... Hmmmm... (edited by Edsgravy0 on 05-01-04 06:37 PM) |

Correct! ____________ Score Clockworkz:1 Disch:1 Edsgravy0:2 _____________ As for the brainbuster, it was a trick question. You can't get into Ridley's Lair in Super Metroid. Math Question:What is the number of areas in Zero Mission plus the number of encounters with the SA-X(exclude the restricted lab, battle, and Omega Metroid appearances) times the number of super missles to Meta Ridley's chest(after the glass is gone on a normal non-100% run) without using a claculator. EDIT:has the same number of points as brainbuster. (edited by SM_Gamer on 05-01-04 09:11 PM) |

Originally posted by SM_Gamer You can't? And as for your math question... Oh god. I never played Zero Mission, can't remember no. of SA-X encounters in Fusion, and never bothered to learn how many Super Missiles Meta Ridley could take. People who can find this out will probably use calculators, because you can't see them (Without webcams or stuff) |

I'm questioning the order of operations needed for this problem...it looks like: A + (B * C) Going with that... A: Based off the original...some new areas I'm sure...I'll say 8. B: SA-X...If an encounter is when you could actually engage SA-X (and get killed for it), I think 4. C: Got me there. I'll guess 20. Going with the logic I put up there... 8 + (4 * 20) 8 + 80 88 |
