For the record, some people didn't even go with a date, and they still had an awesome time. Plus, they probably saved a heap of cash anyway. As for not having the guts, think about this: What do you really have to lose? Even if she does say no, at least you know you tried, and you don't torture yourself over what could have been. Sometimes it pays to rold the dice every once in a while. Believe me, I know it's tough, but sometimes it really does pay off in spades. |

Kefka: I had a wedding to attend in the summer along with grad night in June. So it was killing two birds with one stone. |

I was really into this chick last year and it took me like 4 months to finally ask her out. It didn't work out but i felt really good for having the cajon |

Well, you don't seem that poor, since it seems you have a computer and access to the internet. I had to work to get money for my prom. My dad bought the dress for me and that was it. I had to raise the money for eveything else on my own. Which really didn't bother me anyway, since I knew dad couldn't afford it anyway. The thing with proms, you know way in advance that it's going to happen. Now depending on if you go or not, you can still start saving money, heck, at the start of your freshman year, if you really wanted to. And if you end up not going when the times comes, at least you have money saved up for something. |

"I'm Poor" = expression to say that I'm going to be spending a lot of money. And yes, I am paying for this, that's why I've reffed basketball for four years and have tutored kids at my school. I've saved up money for a helluva long time and now it's going to this. And about having an internet and computer, that doesn't prove that you're not poor. For all you know, I could be at the library using one of their computers, cause I've done that before. Having certain things does not prove your wealth or lack thereof. |
