| I've always thought it's somewhat idiotic how people consistently and rashly label others as "stupid," and toss the phrase "stupid people" around all willy-nilly. Often it seems that, when a person takes some sort of action that a poster does not agree with, said poster will write up a thread with a link to the appropriate news story and then insert an unfunny and pretentious comment about idiots ruling the world. That said, I've found myself agreeing with Yiffy Kitten more and more as of late. The original statements made in this thread illustrate a situation where "stupid" is an appropriate adjective, though I say that subjectively because it appears that my political views so closely mirror TG's  . The whole political correctness thing, for one, makes me want to vomit.On a sidenote, don't be so hard on Cthulhu. Unless there's something about him that I haven't seen yet, he seems like an okay guy. |
