Please. With the amount of people who want to be writers, and people like Silvershield busting out posts that eat Dictionaries and crap elequence, I would be surprised if the stuff I produced had any shot at all...

Besides, I thought this was referring to strictly career choices. Aside from attempting to be a good Christian (which I obviously fail miserably at), I would prefer not to share my other goals, as they could easily change.

I'm 15.

My spiffed up aspirations:

- To be a comic book artist/writer! *shwee*

- To have my own comic book that'll bring back the dying comic book industry. (Yeah right) To have my own popular comic book.

- To have a quaint, little house with a wonderful garden which I tend when I am not drawing or doing other cool stuff.

- To have A Purpose Driven Life. (Rick Warren is helping me out on that one

I'm 18 years old.

I want to work with some sort of diplomacy (international politics). Maybe with the Department of Foreign Affairs (in my native country Norway), or in some sort of embassy/consulate. To help me on the way, I've applied for different political studies in universties in Norway and abroad. As for family, I don't really have anything planned. Hopefully, something will come along some day.

I plan on getting a bachelors degree in software development and from there, either design levels/dungeons for a videogame company or go into Internet security. I eventually want to tour around Europe, Japan, and the Caribbean Islands. I definitely want to meet the right girl, get married, and have a family with two kids, preferably a boy and a girl.

I'm 20 years old. My aspirations tend to change, but there are some general ones that have been in my mind for a long time.

* I want to learn as many languages as I can. Currently I'm studying Swedish, and it's pretty fun to learn.

* I want to go back to university. This time, I want to go for professional translating. Since these are hard to come by (at least, they were in Belgium), I think I'd earn a dencent income.

* I want a family with Adrian. Rather sooner than later. Call it my mother instinct

And my most important one is growing old together with the one guy I can say I love fully, no matter what. If my health goes along a bit, that'll happen

edit: before you call me corny and all, I have to say that it seems aspirations become more realistic as you mature. I mean, as a child I wanted to be a popstar, a hairdresser, etc. Now, I tend to base my aspirations on things that I can actually realise, if life doesn't throw me too much curveballs. Is this similar for anyone else?

I'm 18.

My current goals are somewhat diffuse, but it involves Japan, games and drawing. Hopefully I'll go to japan in september this year as an exchangestudent. And if I'd learn japanese, many doors would open.

I've been 18 years old for a few months now, and I have alot of aspirations. At the moment I'm studying in computer science, so I sort of want to do something with computers. I was thinking about being a teacher later on so that I can teach others about computers. Most of all I just want to learn alot of things: A few more languages, the history of some specific things, and other things... I'll probably be travelling alot, so the languages will come in handy. However, I won't travel by plane all the time, I'll travel in many different ways to many different places, just to make it more interesting.

I also have alot of interest in film making. I already started making movies last year, and I've going to make more as the months pass by. I'll probably be making some bigger movies once I'm done with university, but I doubt I'll make anything big enough for the theaters.

As for a family, I don't have any plans at the moment. I'll probably end up getting married later on, and I'll have a few children. I'm not too rushed into that though, so I'll probably only be thinking about it once I'm in my thirties.

So wy don't you have your aspiration be to fulfill an aspiration?

As for me, I'm 15 and I want to be a photgrapher. My ultimate goal would be to work for the National Geographic, but I don't think I'm ever gonna be that good.

Other aspirations....make it to college, for now.

I would like to be a journalist. I am going to try to get to N'Western's journalism school... tough to do, though. And if I make it, right now I couldn't afford it... so I'd have to do student loans

But if it turns out to be too troublesome to become a journalist, then I perhaps would like to one day be a game designer... Yea, I know. I've done nothing yet to make me worthy of being one... but hopefully that'll change soon.

I'm currently eighteen, and I have a wide variety of goals that generally sit in the back of my consiousness and collect dust. Few of them ever enter my head on a regular basis, and there are probably as many fantastic ones as there are realistic.

In the name of the immediate and the realistic, my goals don't extend very far. I'd like to up my school average enough to get a scholarship for university next year, and I'm really only a few points behind. Furthermore, I'd like to get a good grade on my AP Psychology exam next week, and finish my "final" school year with the best grades I can get. Outside of that, I want to get a good job at a bookstore and enjoy myself. I bolded that last point because I have only within the past few years regained my concept of really enjoying life, and I want to continue to do so as much as possible, instead of writhing around in depravity and gloom. I also want to see if I can take any computer classes this summer.

Next up are are my long-term realistic aspirations. I want to be a biologist. More specifically, I want to be a geneticist. My exact reasons for this, I'll get into in a second, but I'll say for now that I want to help the human condition. I'd also like to get some experience in writing and/or acting, and learn more about computers. Definately more an aspiration than a goal, I want to travel, and spend some time living in exotic places all over the world.

There are also some goals of mine that even I consider, at times, to be very unrealistic. All the same, some of them are possibilities. With the latest advancements in the Human Genome Project and other such endeavors, I can certainly hope that genetic science is going to be a thing of wonder as I start to become involved in the field. I want to find a way to make people live longer. I want to make us stronger and heathier, and I want to improve our immune systems and resistances to heat, cold, and other things. I also want to have a part in the creation of organic machines -- things that could manufacture spider's silk (one of the strongest substances known to man) in great quantities, or power entire cities via photosynthesis.

I would like to further develop my philosophy on life, but I have no worries about not accomplishing that; I'm doing it every second that I live.

I'd like to meet someone who I could actually relate to, feel proud to know, and like. Someone I can talk to. Someone I don't have to talk to.

This is a comparitively short list, but it's something to go by.

When comparing it to what? Comparing it to the other "lists" here would make it huge.

Age: 13
Aspirations: Be a lawyer, or failing that, probably enter journalism or maybe even write novels. Depending on your success, you can get paid LOADS. Hehe... I haven't really put that much thought into what I want to do yet though...

Oop. Well, I meant comparitive to a full list of my aspirations.

Oh, and I almost forgot one: to make some significant progress finding data in Kirby's Adventure.

I'm 15, and I plan on graduating HS.

I'd like to attend a 4 year college, and get a degree in engineering, of the civil or computer varieties, or to be an English major.

For the computer engineer / english I hope to use whichever I do to work at PC Gamer.

Anything involving PC Gamer is my final aspiration.
