| Why not Linux... Or partition it in half and put stuff in the first half and Linux in the other. I actually have a new harddrive myself. Which I hadn't used... or even partioned yet.  I'm planning to install fedora http://fedora.redhat.com/ And if you get tired on Linux, you can just format the partition you installed on. (and then restore the MBR with the help of fdisk /mbr) |

Use it as a games/application drive.  Just install all the games you have to it as well as anything you come across online.Or if you really wanted to be stupid, use it as a 40 GB swapfile. |
