| Well, we used to have the General Language forum, but it was removed. I love reading Dutch, though, because, even though I've never been to the Netherlands, or taken a single Dutch class in my life, I can understand most Dutch simply because it's close to both German and Norwegian, both of which are langauges I speak.. | |||

Kijk eens, in een restaurant vind ik dat wat anders. Een goed menu moet eigenlijk in het Frans zijn, want dan smaakt het ook lekkerder. | I only know a few words in Dutch, but want to learn it, seeing as both my father's parents came from the Netherlands. The little bit of Dutch is limited to names for my parents, grandparents, and a curse my Opa uses. |
