Or be daring and ask Acmlm himself!  What I did, although I'm sure it's probably an annoyance to him, so I'd ask someone else if I were you. But yes tons of people have 1.8a, so that shouldn't be very hard to get a hold of. |

Does it matter if people are getting their hands at 1.8? It's good for people who might contribute to 2.0, but I dunno why people would choose AcmlmBoard over boring, but more secure boards  , maybe for customization. |

| I thik that fact that if the board was to be distributed freely, it was cause even more lamers to show up with there scripts, seeing how they would be able to get a copy of it and search though the code for any flaws.. |

| I'd strongly recommend against 1.8 for now actually. It seems 1.95 is being released very soon (don't hold that against me though) since Acmlm has started working on the code again, and that'll be a secure release. | |||

| Hehe... I picked up 1.8, 1.61 and 0.7 (I think) tonight I just want to do some snooping around, and get into modding again, now I've learned some C++ at Uni. Is 1.8 the main modding platform for the time being? I 1.95 is really, really far away, then I might make some mods for it. There are some significant changes in 1.95 that could mean that any mods would have to be altered... Namely the new layout handling etc... |

I would reccomend people to at least set up an test board before the serious one. I di an test board, and i'm glad that it wasn't an serious one. But actually we are all waiting for Acmlmboard 2.0 which probably will be an summer release. In year 2050...  |

| I have a copy of all the old acmlmboards some are just missing some files. Yeah BL it would be pretty hard considering you added so many features. Also Xeogred it would be pretty hard to upgrade but not impossible. |

| I found the download site without asking. Before the Great Crash I found found an old thread where someone posted the name of the server that had the files. I don't exactly understand why the download URL is such a secret. I think this game of "keep away" is pointless. |
