I beat the hack about a half an hour ago. This hack was really good. The best Zelda 3 hack yet. Granted, there are some glitches, but nothing that can't be fixed. I think you should continue working on this hack Omega. Maybe thouch up a lot of things before moving on. You were able to make the whole Light-World quest with just a quarter of the overworld. Pretty good. Make your quest through the Dark-World take you to the unexplored areas of the Light-World, and vice-versa. Great job!

Thx, but im not sure I want to continue this hack. The rom is kinda messed up after all that. I had to change lots of things to make it work. I am however making a full hack with both light world and dark world, and 10 new dungeons. Im not exactly sure, but it should be out around xmas.

I love the ambition. Xmas. now thatd be impressive. Look forward to it. Also you previously said youd make a small area for me. So i could credit you ingame. Perhaps i should changes the Chris Houlihan room into the Omega room.

Hows that going? if at all.

Take your time on this next hack if you need to in order to make it a classic. If you can't make it out by Xmas, so be it. Release it later.

Oh, I intend to take my time. The reason I am estimating Xmas is because this time I have some help. From what is done so far, this hack is looking quite amazing. Im not going to rush it like my last hack.

"Also you previously said youd make a small area for me."

Sry, I havent had any time to work on that at all. Ive been so busy with School. Man, Calculus is a lot of work. Anyways, I wouldnt expect that area before next week, cause Ive got a midterm on monday. Sry.

Oh, and about the Omega room. That would be awesome, but if it means that I wouldnt be a character in the town, i wouldnt go for it. I really like the idea of the character in the town. But, it is of course always up to u since its ur hack.

I just finished this hack, and it was awesome. It ran relatively bug-free (except in the zora area and a few other minor things which were mentioned earlier), and was really fun. I thought the third dungeon boss was a little too hard and repetitive for having just the first sword, but the ending was really cool and fun, though very difficult as well. I thought it was a great way to put those bosses in. Anyway, the hack was great overall, and I had an awesome time playing it. Thanks, Omega!

Thx Deathfile. Glad you enjoyed it. The key to the third dungeon boss is that you had to use the hammer, bombs, or charge up ur sword. Also, you could have a max of 10 hearts at that point.

Anyways, check back for updates on my next hack. Ill probably be releasing some screens in the next few weeks.

Omega, one complaint: half these dungeons aren't done... and ye know... you may be wanting to start a new hack, but the overworld on this is fucking perfect! Just perfect the hack man! Finish it! Seriously!

Kefka, what do u mean "half these dungeons arent done"???

Glad u like the overworld, but I have had complaints that it isnt different enough from some people. That is understandable considering I started with the overworld, and I was still learning the program. Anyways, i am currently debugging it for release to the general public. Im gonna be posting it on larger sites, so I want to thank everyone who pointed out bugs. Its really helped it have a more professional look to it.

Btw, i may end up using some screens/areas from my hack in the new one. Ill just have to see.

Edit: Ive made some changes to the sanctuary, and I uploaded a new patch. If you have already finished the game, I wouldnt bother re-downloading it, but thats of course up to u.

Yes we must all compliment Omega on a job very well done.

More importantly, Omega I can't seem to reach you when I'm on AIM, but I would like to yet you know that the current dungeon I was working on is completed and ready to send to you.

Omega, just present this hack as a 'demo' or something and leave it as is so you can devote all your time on your 'super hack' - and if you get it done by XMAS that would be amazing, seeing as how ambitious it sounds, but DO NOT release that one before it is finished and bug-free. For example, I asked you about this hack early on if you had done bug-testing, and you said you'd done extensive bug testing, but then you told me later you hadn't actually played through the hack yourself. huh?

Anyway, looking forward to you Master Hack :-)

Omega, why don't we just use PM's to send info, that way we can keep this tight and away from creepy people who want to steal our ideas.

^^ ok, i didnt know this board had PM's.

" you'd done extensive bug testing"

Didnt I meantion that I had a beta tester? He played through it many times, and when I released it, it was basically bug free. There were only a few issues with the overworld that I have already fixed.
