Most of the stuff around here in my house runs on Duracell, but I don't really have a preference aside from that.

How about "whatever's on sale".

That's about the same for me, I don't really care. But if I HAD to choose, I'd go with duracell. I don't know why.

I'm a cheapskate. I get the cheapest batteries available. Most often, that's generic store-brand batteries.

But they're a hell of a lot better than Panasonic. Of course, an empty Pepsi bottle would probably work better than Panasonic...

I choose Duracell. That kept my GBA running for about 2 weeks or more back when I still played my GBA. Now that I have a DS, I rarely need any batteries.

Energizer. Because they have that weird test button that burns your fingers if you hold it too long. Wait, that's not a good thing My vote's for duracell. Trusted everywhere (even Acmlm's)

I dunno, Energizers last for a long freakin' time. I used to use Energizers all the time in my old GBA, they always outlasted Duracells. Not the really expensive Duracells, mind you, but for the same price and quantity, Energizer always won.

Those really expensive Duracells, though... They kick the shit out of Energizers. But those things are meant to be used with like, Digicams and stuff. Not GBAs or flashlights or anything practical. Energizer for the short term, Duracell for the big stuff.

I've found that Duracells last like 10 times as long as Energizers. Though I usually end up buying some crappy cheap ones because I'm a cheapskate. Always avoid those ridiculous deals like 50 batteries for a dollar or whatever... those things'll run dry in about the same amount of time it takes to install them.

Whatever I can get (and the only batteries I use are well..... for my wavebird controller).

And I use the "You get more power out of them if they're not hot" technique

You're kidding right? I used Powercell once. They had about as much energy as a brick. Damn things lasted 2 hours in my GBA.

It doesn't matter to me, I just use whatever's laying around. Used to use rechargables but it's hard to find the alkaline kind nowadays. :/

I have rechargables, but they don't last as long as regular batteries and if you let them sit for more than a day without being used after charging, they die.
So I don't use those much unless I have no money and no regular batteries around.

Duracell... and yes, don't be greedy with the allusion of 50 batteries for a buck. The yellow markets are evil!
