In YY-CHR, I'm trying to load the SMB3 pallette through a savestate, but none of the savestates appear to be the right type of file for YY-CHR to open. Is it even possible to load the SMB3 palette(s) in YY-CHR?

The NES or the SNES one? I know that for mme, YY-CHR doesn't recognize any files, so I just set it to view all files (the bottom selection). If it's SNES, then you just scroll though the palletes with the up/down buttons. If NES, you can't just pick the colors yourself? There's only 16...

Select one of the four colors: should go in order from left to right, darkest to light, with a few random colros later on. Once you have a color (let's say you selected the first black), select a color from the NES pallete below where you see the already aranged palletes. The black you sleceted should now change to hte new color. Once you've picked your palletes, you can save your new one. Go to Pallete on the explorer bar, but don't save pallete. Instead, save the one above it (it's arrangement). Now, all you do is load that up if you're too lazy to pick colors everytime

OK. The reason I was asking is that I'm trying to figure out how to edit the color of Mario's clothes.

Well, you can't edit the colors he uses in game, if that's what you're trying to do |
