This isn't an actual real game (although I'd like it to be...). I've been turning sml graphics into a more modern, "spiffy" version. All these "screenshots" are conversions from the old game to my new graphics. 1-1 1-1 again 1-2 1-3 |

Yeah, looks great.. And Super Mario Land is still not rereleased by Nintendo. (You may beat them, if someone makes a Game out of it)

Wow, that looks very good. You apply for a job at Nintendo. I like the 1-2 two stage the most of them because it looks so nice and peaceful...like a paradise. Yep, X is right. I (edited by Millennium Neko on 04-20-04 05:29 AM) |

World 1 (Birabuto Kingdom) wasn't an exact desert. At least, not the way I invision it. It had pyramids (and pyramid shadows that I added, whee!). For the most part, I'm done with the Birabuto Kingdom and I'll do Muda next (world 2). Thanks for the comments so far! 1-3 was hard to make because the graphics in the game are so freakin' lousy |

You know, if you could get a hold of Russ Prince, I'm pretty sure he isn't busy right now. And he's made plenty of homebrews, to say the least. If you want these graphics in use, maybe you could contact him. But to say the least, from the links you've given us in #rom-hacking, this shit is looking very kickass |

Excellent job... I'd love to see this as a real game for GameBoy Advance, a remake of Super Mario Land. Tatanga must not be forgotten!!! Anyway, the shot for 1-3... beautiful, it makes me all teary eyed!

That's pretty good. You should talk to some rom-hackers, I'm sure that this would make a great project I can't wait to see the submarine and the rocket

I know you've already heard this, but I'm going to say it anyways. These graphics are very good. No. They are above awesome. I wish I had half of your artistic abilities. I loved Super Mario Land. It was just so cool, simple, and portable. Retro never gets old. |

Can use those gfx in my hack? It would make it look so cool... I'll make like a world or two consisting of all the SML levels using the gfx you made. (edited by drjayphd on 05-11-04 03:15 AM) |

Those graphics would only work for the first 3 levels, actually. Muda, Easton, and Chai kindgoms all have different graphic sets. At least they will when I get through with them. No, Clock, no using my graphics. I'd like to hang on to them... |
