| First, look at the topic title. I don't want to repeat myself. The situation is that I happen to have an Imation Superdisk USB drive. It reads all floppies wonderfully, but I'm having trouble with how to eject a disk. I've tried the button, a toothpick, and pressing the button while plugging/unplugging it's power cable. There is no Eject command in the My Computer file menu either. So, what should I do? Drive model: Imation SD-USB-M2 Disk type I need to eject: standard 1.44mb floppy Operating system: Windows XP SP2 |

| You might be able to pull the whole thing apart and wire in a force-eject button, but that would void your warrentee and you would probably damage the thing. | |||

| I figured it out. The software eject feature is only for SuperDisks. With normal floppies, a thumbtack can slide into the button's hole and open it. For now, this little problem is solved. |
