The "impossible" has just been done PLEASE tell me this hasn't already been posted here before...but I just found out about it myself, Someguy linked me to this site. Apparently they've cracked the dot code and everything edit: a few more technical thingymajigs on the e-reader technology this is some pretty cool shit (edited by MajinBlueDragon on 04-19-04 10:37 PM) |

Yep, this is sweet indeed! Of course, we all know that people will be using it for much more than homebrews

It doesn't work for me. I have 3 e-Readers, e-Reader Japanese, e-Reader English, e-Reader +, it doesn't work on any of them. It DOES however, identify that it is a card... "Read Error" is all it says. I guess the e-Reader identifying it as a card is an accomplish enough, though... just wish I knew why it didn't work.

did you try using the printing program on his site? Maybe the code was printed upside down ? I'm just guessing possible things, I highly doubt the latter

Confirmed on Planet GameCube, by the way. Even if it's not 100% yet, it was only a matter of time. Now, when will the actual games end up being pirated... |

Wow, this is thread 2000. So it is possible, now I can see e-card pirating and home brewn cards which you print out. I would try this out, but Nintendo hadn't released E-reader in Europe. |

Well, this is good news for us, and bad news for nintendo There are possibilities, and there are limits, and theres a whole bunch of in between . And what other kinds of cards would we want in SMA4? Besides custom levels |

I don't know if it's bad news for them... it's only bad if people start finding out how to copy the actual retail stuff over. They won't flip if it's only useful for homebrews.

Anybody here feel like making a program to generate SMA4 level cards? Won't be long before someone does. |

I'd like to try to put NES ROMs on cards as well. Like SnowBro did with Bomberman. The ROMs would have to be pretty small though.

And that's why some games have two or three cards, I'm pretty sure. |
