And now, an update: We went to the Faculty Senate meeting, wore white gags around our mouths to symbolize the voice of the students being silenced, and won a small victory! The changes to the student handbook are going to be reviewed by the faculty senate and a special committee composed of both students AND faculty to try and come up with a compromise. Score one for the good guys! Of course, this could all just be a sham to keep us silent, but either way, it's a step in SOME direction as opposed to standing still. |

Uhm.. #3 isn't that strange, at least not if it's heavy crime. But speeding tickets, that's just lame. Not sure what #4 would mean.. but if it's exactly how you wrote it they can basically nail you for one thing two times instead of the new evidence being a continuation of whatever was concluded the first time. That is indeed kinda lame. |
