| 1. Set up the ExGraphics for them. To do this, read the stickies! The ExGFX Workshop, besides the ExGFX archive, has tutorials in it on how to use and manipulate ExGFX. Or, read the help file. 2. Set up the BG map16 for the background tiles for the waterfall. To do this, read the help file. It is very precise on how to use it. If you don't understand it, then too bad. 3. Set up an ExAnimation for the 8x8 tiles that the BG map16 tiles are using. Go to the Ice Board (forgot its URL, go to Blackhole89's profile and search for "Ice Board" in his Acmlm's Board search), and download Ice Man's ExAnimation tutorial. Doesn't look easy, eh? Well, it's not. Now, remember to check existing threads next time, or existing tutorials on the internet about how to do stuff before you make a new thread about it. This applies to your other thread asking how to change the graphics of a custom block, too. Just to let you know. |

| When you don't understand something, you are supposed to maybe get out out a dictionary and see what the words mean, or if they are ROM hacking terms that you understand, re-type the tutorial in some easier-to-understand form, I guess. Since you're new here and probably don't know it yet, people here really stress on telling new people to read the stickies when they don't understand something, because everyone simply hates threads about things that have already been discussed. Again, go to Blackhole89's prfile and use the Acmlm's Board saerch function he has there to find whatever you need here. There isn't much of an easier way to put what's contained in the stickies, you need to think it over several times (or, as I did, figure it out on your own methodically). As for "getting info from more people", there is info from several people in the stickies, and in many other threads too (again, go to Blackhole89's search function). |

| See, it would be extremely helpful if you didn't have to browse through the memberlist to find some obscure profile in order to search the board. Also note that his search function is just google, and that google isn't that reliable when it comes to searching forums. And again I say that the stickies seriously need to be cleaned out. There are too many random posts with no useful information, which makes it near impossible to find what you're looking for. |

| Wasn't there something in the announcements about the search function coming back? I'm not sure, but I tohught I saw SOMETHING like that. Searching with Google, although unreliable, is the only method I know since there isn't a board search function as of now. I totally agree with the stickies. I mean, just look at how huge some of them are, and how tedious it is to fish out information. If only someone had the time (who does these days, with school, college, jobs and all), then they could compile some Über-mega Acmlm's Board help file. But I fear that it's just some dream that'll never be achieved.  |
