I remodeled Yoshi's Island and placed a red tile to get out of there. I did everything like in the Overworld-Tutorial, but it doesn't work. When Mario touches the red tile the warp animation begins but Mario doesn't warp anywhere. He just warps around that field endlessly...

Hi, I can help you here (I learned how to use the Red OV tiles recently myself).

When you're using the red tiles, you want to set the coordinates first (if it's your first time using them, for the first one, the first coordinate needs to be set to Yoshi's Island, and the second one be in the area where you're aiming the player to come out (e.g. the main part of the OV), I'd recommend using them at 00 and 01 respectively. The second one has to have the same cooridinates as the first one, but reversed (meaning the first coordinate would be whereever the player has to end up after leaving Yoshi's Island, and the second coordinate has to be Yoshi's Island). Then, you have to set the direction the player enters them. First, look at what direction Mario is going when he is about to enter the exit tile. For the direction that the first red tile is entered, it has to be the opposite direction of the one Mario is going before he reaches it. As for the second one, depending on what direction Mario is supposed to exit the second exit tile, again, set the direction he exits the pipe as the opposite direction to the one he is supposed to go next.

Hope this helps you.

I know that, it just doesn't work. -.-

Edit:
This is the first one (Yoshi's Island to Overworld):

This is the other one (Overworld to Yoshi's Island):

About the entering direction:
It's like the original game, the mountain to get to the yellow switch palace

Can you post a couple of screenshots showing the problem please?

I (and possibly anyone else here) could help you more if you had extra screenshots describing the problem.

I can't really make screenshots of that... It's like this:

A---------B

A is Yoshi's Island and B is the Main land.
When Mario touches A, he's supposed to be warped to B, but he gets warped to A. From there, he warps to A again... and again... and again... and again...

Got it?

Maybe you did put the Mario path tiles not into the very right position and Mario walks off the path a little. I had a similar problem, but it was like that: When I put a vertical exit tile on the top of the map in the submap Forest of Illusion, and when I went there, it warped me back again. I think the problem was that a level tile was just under the exit tile. Maybe thats your problem.

Did you do exactly what it says? Put the exit index on the first and direction, then go to the 2nd and do the same, but also do the destination. Then do the first.

I posted screenshots of those in my second post.

There's no level under the tile. I can post a screenshot of my paths if that helps.

Edit:
Yeah, I know, I could have just taken the original path but I deleted all paths as I remodeled the map

I see your problem. The Mario path before the ladder is a little off the path. Can you see? The climbing Mario tile is not really connecting to the path there. Fix that. Use the \\ pathes just after that level.

OK, it works now. I saw that earlier, but I didn't think it it's THAT important. I had to change the height of the mountain to get the paths right...
Thanks...
