| Well, here is the new demo. I hope you'll all play it and enjoy it. And of course, if there are any bug reports, please tell me. Anyway, here are the updates of this one: BUGS: -Major bug fixed in Black Water Lake -Major bug fixed in Rainbow Road -Fixed many background issues, including ones in Boggly Palace, Shhwonk Fortress, and Fireball Flight EVENTS -Door access code fixed in Ice-O-Lated Fortress -Final Resting Place event has been fixed. LEVELS: -Boggly Palace got a makeover! Yes, it's a brand new level, with a spiffy blue palette. Can you make it there? -The Great Tree is still incomplete. If you find it, DON'T PLAY IT. MISC. -Many palette changes making the levels look spiffier. -THE DEMO ENDS AFTER YOU COMPLETE BOGGLY PALACE! So I swear to God, if anyone says "lolz teh Glitz Blitz iznt dun" I'll kill myself. -Petalburgs ? Sphere is now correct I guess that's all. Please, for my sanity, play this demo!! New Demo MUAHAHAHAHA! NO MORE REMOVING FOR YOU FUSOYA! .. Seriously though, everything is right this time. It's small, and it's SMW Style! YES! NO MORE SMAS+SMW!  Eh... Oh wait... I'm not a mod of this forum and can't close this thread so that doesn't work  Uh, it's still stupid. Telling people what it does doesn't make it not illegal to make a patch that turns something in to something illegal. | Um, all I said was that I used a SMAS+SMW ROM when I started this hack. It's not duplicating work at all. . .it's just using a different type of ROM to start the hack off. Meaning when I first started hacking SMW, I used this ROM instead of a typical SMW ROM, thus turning any ROM it is played on into a SMW+SMAS ROM. ANd how many times did I use ROM in that sentence? | If the "unmodified ROM" in the IPS-making process is a SMAS+SMW rom, then it's legal. If the "unmodified rom" in the process is a SMW rom, it's illegal. Maybe "GET A FRESH COPY" refers to getting a fresh copy of a SMAS+SMW rom. (edited by AP on 10-08-05 11:03 PM) |

| I used Lunar IPS, like always. All I did was took the original SMW+SMAS ROM as the unmodified, and used my hack as the modified, and it came out like that. I've always done it like that, but this is the only one that comes out huge. DOn't really know why . . . | |||

| When I remake the patch using All Stars + World as the original, it only comes out as 540 KB or so. Also, is Mario supposed to die on the title screen? I'd suggest trying to find a different copy of the original ROM. |

| I dunno why mine does it. How exactly do I move my ROM to a different ROM? Do I just save every level file I'm done so far into .mwl format, and put it onto a SMW ROM? If thats all there is to it, I can remake the link so that it WON'T change SMW into SMW+SMAS. |

| Export/import all modified levels (there's a menu command for that, you don't have to do them one by one), shared palettes, graphics, and basically anything else you've modified. | |||
