Well, I've recently gotten a car (again) and have returned to driving.  I like driving, but I've remembered recently how much I dislike other drivers on the road.I can't believe how many people on the roads do things like speed, run red lights, don't stop at stop signs, and my favorite pet peeve - fail to indicate -- particularly when they do this and then change lanes erratically, causing other people on the road to have to brake suddenly to avoid collisions and such. I also hate reversing, but that's not to do with other drivers on the road, it's just that I've not gotten the hang of it again. For those of you who drive, what annoys you on the roads? | I hate... -People on their cellphone -People who make left turns from the right turn lane 4 lanes over. -Vice versa -People who somehow zoom and cut right in front of you with 2 inches left, making you slam on your breaks and making the person behind you beep at you. Yeah... Ive seen most of the crap that goes on on the roads  |

| -People who drive too slow (ESPECIALLY those who only do 55 on the highways. It's even worse when the speed limit is 65). -People who get in the left lane but don't pass (KEEP RIGHT, PASS LEFT, idiots, the sign is even in caps for your attention!) -People who put fartcans on their cars. You know, it looks like a fucking Sanka can for a muffler and sounds like one of those noisemakers I used to put on my bike when I was a kid. |

| I dread going to go pick up my sister from school because people are so damn stupid!! The kids are walking on the sidewalk, right? Then people go to the side to pick them up but they're half in the bike lane and half in my lane and you can't go around them aaaand they're driving horribly slow. People really do need to learn how to drive  . I'm not a bad drive either. I've been driving slower to save gas  ..not that slow though. I drive speed limit!!People with cell phones are..just bad. They go really slow, break when not necessary, and aren't paying attention to what they're doing. |

I don't get why people are so bad at driving with cell phones. Doing sharp turns with one hand may be harder, but it's not that difficult to pay attention to the road while talking.  |

| I can't stand arrogant tools who act aggressive toward you when you aren't doing anything wrong and they're the ones who need to be beaten with a Pennsylvania driver's manual. During my morning commute, I have to turn left onto a road with one travel lane in each direction and a turning lane in the middle. When traffic is light, I usually wait for a break in both directions at the same time and do a complete turn. When it's heavier (and it can therefore take FOREVER for a bidirectional break in traffic), I'll turn into the aforementioned middle lane as soon as I can and sit there with my blinker on until I can pull out into the far lane. Every once in a while, some blithering fool in the far lane doesn't understand what I'm doing and lays on their horn at me when I go into the turning lane, apparently thinking I'm making a full turn and am about to hit them. And what gives with idiots who just have to step on the gas and race ahead of all the other cars at a merge point? Are they going to lose the Asshole Olympics if they don't beat enough people in line? |

1. People driving around the speed limit. Come on, 10 over is good.  2. People who park 500,000 feet behind the person in front of them at stop lights. It's a small thing, but it seriously annoys me I'll just sit there and get pissed off at seeing so much space in front of that person. Then again, when I'm parking behind people, I get maybe 1 foot behind them or less (just how I drive). I think I noticed that ticks a lot of people off, I see a lot of people scoot up a little bit whenever I park behind some. 3. Not turning right at stop lights, when they can, there's no cars and site, GO ... but they don't. 4. People who accelerate at 2mph when lights turn green. Come on folks, let's push the pedel a little more. 5. Plenty of other things. Then again, maybe I'm just too much of a dangerous / fast driver? |

| I also hate people that drive cars so big they can't stay in their own lane. Like on my way home from work today, for instance. HUGE hummer on my left, we're driving down a STRAIGHT road, and all of a sudden I have to swerve to avoid getting crushed by this dickwad. >8( Any other car, a little swerve like that wouldn't really affect me, because the lane is big enough for normal sized cars. >8( Luckily there wasn't anyone to my right, or that would have been ugly. |
