| Hack 1: Screen 1: No problems here. Screen 2: Ditto. Screen 3: This OW looks pretty nice, not anything amazing, but at least you have a few good edges in there. Screen 4: Hopping ghost flames, not good. That is a misuse of a sprite, even though it doesn't look completely glitched, it's not intended to be used, it just uses the same graphics entry as the hopping flame in the proper tileset. Also, the ledge with no edge looks bad. There isn't an edge for that particular ledge in the game so you're either going to have to draw your own or use a different FG to make it look right. Hack 2: Screen 1: Bland and empty OW, really need to liven that up. Screen 2: Okay except for the glitched sprite in the item box. As always, glitched sprites are no-no's. |

| You might want to mix up the tiles you're using on the OW... not have everything look so... perfect. It's most noticable in the first OW, you should add the "slanted" grass tiles around, while keeping some of the pure green ones there. (Flip the slanted ones occasionally too, if you'd like...) |

They all look like crap.  The game itself looks alright, but the images are squished which makes them all funny-looking. The page with the scrolling pixels and randomly appearing/disappearing scrollbar doesn't help. |

Everything looks decent to me. I woulden't say it's surprised me or anything, but does look pretty decent. Maybe you should add more to your hack? Possibly? Some of the images need major resizing too.  Heh. Screen three (overworld screen) looks pretty empty. Not so bad though...Basically, I think you need to add a few things into it. Nice work overall though.  |
