| Now, I'm not sure how many of you guys will have been around long enough to remember Danicess and the rest of the oldschool crew, but I'm still doing this. Sarev0k (another oldschooler) wanted me to at least show people one of the greatest discoveries of the Internet to DATE. Brace yourselves, all who're familiar - this is a shocker. So, Sarev0k comes to me early in the Sunday afternoon, and says that he's discovered something strange and harrowing. 'Hm', I say to myself - it's a pretty rare occurance that ol' Crazy Will would come up to me with such urgency! He wants my opinion on if this girl looks like Danicess. No big deal, I say to myself - we've had a lot of false alarms before. This couldn't be different either. I click, and I was dead wrong. See for yourselves:  and compare it to this:  Look at all the similar features on their face. They HAVE to be the same person, right? The myspace profile says some off-setting stuff as well.  Danicess would never drink, and as Vokky pointed out to me, she isn't a Leo. If any of you remember the kind of antics that she got into, she wouldn't get that wrong on her life. I don't believe in Astrology, but she sure as hell did. When you're that knee deep in something, such a simple mistake isn't too easy to just write off. She's from the same town, has the same name, and looks harrowingly similar - Too similar.  Given the almost five year difference between those photographs, the widening of her face seems natural. It leads me to believe, without a doubt, that if the profile isn't her, that photo is absolutely of her. With all of this evidence, it has to be her. So, that's it. What's everybody think of our progress so far? Sarev0k and I make a good crime-fighting team.  Apologies for this being pretty rough around the edges, here. I haven't had much sleep, and I'm a little anxious! We're on a pretty big lead here. (Sorry, I can't give the link to the myspace profile to just anybody. I was thinking "This again?" when I saw this thread.  Yeah, the pictures are similar but a face just don´t "grow" wider. The nose looks fairly different too. And the whole skull is wider. | I figured the skull growing wider, was due to the fact that the two pictures were probably taken a few degrees off from eachother, so you would see more of her face, making it appear wider. It would be a mighty huge coincidence that someone with the same name, living in the same city looks so similar to her. Although some things in her profile don't match up to the person I knew online. She was into riddles, story telling, astrology, and video games. I don't see that person in the text written in her profile at all :-/ |

I'm sorry - i forgot to post the high-res picture! Anyway, the one thing that really bothers me about the whole affair is that the profile says this girl is right in Danicess's last-known place of residence. I mean, nobody can look THAT similar, and live THAT close to where we know Dani lived at one point without being Danicess herself. It's just too uncanny. |

| I'd say it's the same. Faces can get a bit wider overtime. The biggest thing that stands out for me is that sort of curly smile, along with the dimple. Plus all of that factual garble you mentioned. Eerie. |

| Since I've had the total of 12 lines of talking with Dani in the past year or so, it is entirely plausible she may be married. It is fairly "WTF" I must admit, but not outside of the realms of reason. She was a great asset to the board, and losing her really did suck. All of us Oldbies can quantifiably say that it was a sad time. The pictures are eerily similar, there are a few sticking points, but age generally changes things like that. If she has put on even a small amount of weight combined with the aging process, it would be wrong for her to look any other way. Leg: I'm not going to take up your bet, because you're probably right...But she might be hiding from us as a Tauren of some sort...That may very well be how she has escaped us. |
