Crap I live in california and this is getting crazy, I have no idea how I'm going to pay for gas, does anyone have any good tips for saving gas or turning your car to biodiesel or SOMETHING? I have a Chevrolet Cavalieer 1998 What about motorcycles? Now much are they around about, and what's a good one? |

I don't see how buying a motorcycle will save you money, and they're very impractical to be your only way of transportation. Just be careful not to waste gas, go to cheap companies like Arco, walk or ride a bike whenever possible, ect. I'm pretty sure caveliers are small cars, so you're better off than people with Hummers or some crap like that.

Walk, ride a bike, bus, train, car pool, or just stay at home. A friend of mine is paying about $90 a week for gas for his SUV, and he just bought it not too long ago. Gas for me used to be like $10, now its close to $30, and depending on where I go, depends if that's $30 a week or $30 every two weeks. But, you have to remember, its more for gas over seas. (At least that's what Elmo has told me.) |

Yes, but cars overseas get MUCH better milage than most over here. That's a big difference. I'm gonna assume that it balances out that way.

They make are cars non gas efficient on purpose I try not to drive really fast or whatever and I take the lightrail/train thingy to school. It saves time and money. Use public transportation or a bike, go to the really cheap gas stations, even the no name ones . |

I pay when I have to, and today that was $10. That has to last me a week or two. I'd bike so much more but my parents make me drive my brother everywhere, including school, which is only two blocks away.

You know what they're selling a lot of in Montreal? Vespas. Even had news articles on them and everything. Vespas are also much more affordable than cars at the pumps. |

I can make a tank of gas last about 3 weeks on average. I only use it to go to work which is about 2 miles away. That, or Wal-Mart or McDonalds which is about three miles away. Luckily for me I have no social life or I'd be insanely broke.

65 is the speedlimit on the freeway anyway you speed demons . Nah, I go about 70 or something..maybe 75 because my speedometer is a little off. Drive speed limit! Save gas! I find myself going slower now and it's irritating to try and save gas |

Is my Volvo insane or something? I get way better milage when going 40-45, which is often speeding.
