Can't you do that already? Just make a gap in the path where it crosses the other path. If he's going to add any new features in another version, which I doubt there will ever be, it should be simple things like level numbers in the title bar and automatically exporting levels to files when saved.

Wonderful, simply wonderful. Too bad you can't release the code so someone could make an easy-to-use SMW2 editor... *hint hint*

Did you know what are you talking about, both SMW and SMW2 got different data, It would be easier to create a program to edit YI than modifing LM to do it, a SMA2 editor look more possible

There already is an easy-to-use editor for SMW2. EggVine - who could forget about it. Once you get over the fact that it's all squares, nothings in line, sprites are kinda funky, and some things you have to put vertical to appear horizontal, it's a darned-good editor.

No really. It is.

Way to go Fu. I just downloaded it, though I doubt I'll use it, since I'm not in the mood for SMW hacking right now

Yay! How have you been Fu?

Oh, not bad. While it's been a busy month, I'm hoping to be able to relax a bit next month. Maybe play a new RPG.

Fu:the link don't work anymore, I just hope your homepage aren't down

I noticed that just before going to bed yesterday... probably just a temporary glitch, as it's back up today.

I'll be sure to keep you abreast of all the little things that I find wrong with LM in hopes that if there ever is a new version (unlikely I know, but always be prepared), they can be fixed.

Well, alright. I can put it in a list somewhere, just in case something major ever turns up. But I don't really anticipate any further releases.

And for the odd few still making feature requests: Sorry, but whatever it is you're asking for, the answer is no.

Since this most likely is the final version, would you mind answering a question?

Is there anything left for us to find in LM?

Oh, for one bug- I looked through the help file before writing this down (I may have missed something), but when animating entry 00 for the BG, in-game layer 2 doesn't show up, and neither does the colour change. I think you might be interested in that.

That's not a bug, it's just the way SMW is set up. It doesn't actually use palette entry #00 for the background color.

I figured out that I can make a savestate, modify the level, save the level, and use the savestate again, unlike in 1.6.2

It's too bad all this DNS craziness prevented me from getting on Acmlm's days earlier. I had to find out on my own about the new LM.

Anyway, w00t! Being listed in LM's changes file for finding the gray/brown platform error really made my day.

And Skyon, while there's a possibility it might not be the very final version, it took over a year for this one. There are no new LM releases on the horizon.

I must be dreaming! Someone pinch me!

Fu, you forgot to update the readme with the new site URL.

Wow! Ever since I downloaded LM V1.62 last year when my friend lend me his computer I would thought that Version 1.62 is the final version. But now since LM V1.63 is released my brother will like to continue to edit the ExGFX on his levels.

It's too bad I've never learned everything from LM yet but my brother is 100% skilled at it while I'm the only one good enough to make levels with objects and sprites.

Nice work FuSoYa.

Uhoh, I found a really huge bug! In the registry, the 'author' value still says 2004! Just what's the purpose of that value anyway?

It used to be set up so that changing the registry string would change the "author" string in the old style MWL files. However, that idea was abandoned in the new MWL format. IIRC, LM no longer reads or sets that registry value.

I actually tried LM1.63 and I think most of the stuff changes here as the last one. I also look in the readme about changes in the last version. Not if I congratulate FuSoYa for creating LM but Smallhacker, Bio, and the others that bringing it up to FuSoYa.
